Turn product research into a usable shortlist.
A workspace for project briefs, product research, comparison and purchasing preparation. It keeps selected offers, quantities, retailer rules and the evidence behind a comparison together.

The problem and the work.
Product research often ends up split between browser tabs, notes and a spreadsheet. Similar-looking listings may be different variants, and a published dispatch window is not necessarily an arrival date.
Independent software project for product research and purchasing preparation.
- Project workspacesSaved project briefs and carts, with items, messages, filters and selections.
- Evidence-based comparisonProduct identity and variant matching, price and availability extraction, and explicit delivery caveats.
- Purchasing preparationRetailer allowlists and exclusions, quantity changes, offer selections and CSV exports.
- Persistent recordsWorkspace backups, concurrent-update handling and budget tracking for optional AI use.
How it was implemented.
Read published product evidence
The extraction pipeline reads accessible merchant product data and structured markup. It retains source evidence and leaves unavailable information unknown.
Compare like with like
Identity and variant checks distinguish a requested product from an accessory or a different configuration. Delivery evidence separates dispatch, transit and arrival when the source allows it.
Keep the decision usable
Selections and quantities stay with the project. CSV export turns the shortlist into a record that can be used in an existing purchasing process.
From the need to the result.
- Define the needCreate a project or cart and add product names, part numbers or direct links.
- Apply buying rulesSet retailer filters, quantities and price or delivery limits.
- Review the evidenceCompare offers with identity checks, source details and caveats.
- Export a shortlistSave the selection and produce a CSV for the next purchasing step.
What is implemented and checked.
Working prototype
The keyless research and organizing logic is implemented. Merchant coverage is limited and depends on accessible published data. AI features remain disabled and were not live-tested in this review. The app prepares comparisons and exports; it does not purchase items.
Price Finder verification notes
45 focused local checks passed on 15 October 2026 across extraction and matching, retailer rules, workspace persistence, concurrent updates and the mocked storage adapter.
These are local implementation checks. Production rollout and live services require their own acceptance checks.
